Navigating the admission process can be daunting. Follow these simple steps to ensure a smooth experience:

Verify Your Name: First, verify your name and details by thoroughly checking the official selection list PDF posted on the University of Kashmir’s website.
- Download Your Admission Form: Go to the official University of Kashmir website (www.kashmiruniversity.net). Go to “Admissions,” find the link that reads “Submit Admission Form for 1st Semester.” You will have to log in using your Entrance Test Roll Number or Form Number and your Date of Birth (DOB) to download your form.

Collect All Original Documents: Make sure all the necessary documents have been collected before you visit the university. This is the most important step. Be sure to have original copies of the documents on hand, as well as at least two sets of photocopies that are self-attested.

Draft the Legal Affidavit: You must have an affidavit prepared and sworn before a 1st Class Judicial Magistrate. This is a legal requirement in which you declare facts regarding your eligibility and qualifications.

- Have Documents Verified: Submit the completed admission application and documents to the staff at the verification location. The Chair of the Department‘s Admission Committee will check your eligibility, especially your ‘in-service’ status and teaching experience.
- Pay the Admission Fee: After your documents have been verified and the department has approved your form for online submission, you will be permitted to pay the required admission fee on the online portal. It is highly recommended that you submit the payment before the final deadline.
